Exemplar mit der Dissertatio critica de situ paradisi terrestris von Cartier, am Ende von Bd. IV. Mit 1 gefalt. Kupferkarte. (Ebd. 1771). - Tlw. etw. stockfl. und wasserrandig, 3 Tafeln gelöst und mit Randläsuren, 1 Kupfer mit kl. Fehlstelle im Bild. Einbde. beschabt und bestoßen, Rücken restauriert und ergänzt. Gleichwohl insges. dekoratives Exemplar.
Third edition of this Constance bible by the Benedictines around G. Cartier, with the 'Dissertatio critica de situ paradisi terrestris'. With 1 folding copper map and 65 copper plates. Contemp. calf with rich gilt spine. - Somewhat foxed in places and with traces of damp, 3 plates loosened and with marginal blemishes, 1 copper with small defective spot in image. Bindings scraped and scuffed, spine restored and mended. However, all in all decorative copy.
